Meet the People Behind Our Casino Reviews

A casino review is only as accountable as the people and evidence behind it. Readers should be able to identify who researched a page, who checked claims that could affect their money or legal position, and when those claims were last reviewed. A brand logo, an anonymous star rating or a generic “expert-approved” badge cannot replace that information.

This page describes the contributor information and review responsibilities that should accompany articles on this site. Named team biographies are not included in this draft because identities, qualifications and publication permissions have not yet been provided. Until they are verified, this page must remain unpublished. That is preferable to using invented writers, stock portraits presented as employees or credentials that cannot be substantiated.

For the underlying evaluation procedure, read how we review online casinos. Our editorial policy covers sourcing, corrections and commercial conflicts.

Who Does What in a Casino Review?

Casino reporting is not one discipline. Verifying a jurisdiction\’s list of approved websites is different from checking a promotion\’s rollover terms; both differ from observing an actual withdrawal. The published article should make these distinctions visible.

Contributor responsibility Work expected Evidence required before claiming completion
Research author Define market, explain operator terms and compare documented features Source log, working links, quoted terms and review date
Licensing researcher Check regulator, legal entity, approved product and exact domain Dated official-register reference and recorded match
Payments and UX tester Observe account flow, device support or transactions where authorised Dated test notes, methods, screenshots or receipts with personal data removed
Safety and compliance reviewer Review age rules, self-exclusion, location restrictions and advertising language Local regulatory sources and change log
Copy editor Challenge unsupported superlatives, numerical claims and unclear terminology Approved revision with tracked substantive changes

These are functions, not a claim that five separate employees currently hold those positions. One qualified contributor may cover more than one function; the attribution should reflect who actually carried out each step. Legal interpretation that requires jurisdiction-specific advice must be referred to a suitably qualified professional rather than presented as an editor\’s legal opinion.

What a Verified Contributor Profile Should Contain

A credible author page gives readers facts they can check rather than a string of promotional adjectives. A name, relevant background and examples of published work are useful; “world-leading casino authority” without evidence is not.

Each live profile should contain the person\’s real name or a clearly disclosed professional byline, current role, relevant experience, areas of jurisdictional coverage and links to representative work. Where a degree, professional certification or regulatory affiliation is cited, the publisher must have consent and documentation to substantiate it. A licence to practice law must never be implied by experience writing about gaming law.

How Contributor Claims Are Checked

Publishing biographies requires the same discipline as publishing operator facts. Editorial leaders should verify identity and obtain permission to display a photograph and professional history. Links to independently maintained profiles or established prior work can help readers evaluate experience. Contributions should be tied to a date and a specific publication, not a general claim that an expert “approved everything.”

A byline is also not a guarantee of an article\’s accuracy. High-impact information—legal availability, licence status, financial conditions, eligibility and protections—needs independent sources. The step-by-step casino licence verification guide demonstrates the kind of source record we expect to see behind licensing assertions.

The Limits of Expertise

Even an experienced gambling writer may not be qualified to interpret every statute, test financial integrations or evaluate a clinical gambling-harm question. A profile should state its scope. Writers can accurately report that a regulator lists a website; they should not automatically claim that the operator complies with every legal requirement or that every payment will be completed on time.

The difference between officially documented, directly observed and not verified matters throughout the site. We will not treat a promotional landing page as evidence of payment speed, and we will not assign a numeric rating when the underlying scoring evidence is missing. Read the affiliate disclosure for how commercial relationships should be presented separately from editorial verification.

For coverage, market boundaries matter. A contributor researching legal US online casinos must establish which state a claim concerns. Ontario operator registration does not prove legal access from all of Canada; see the Canadian provincial guide. Estonia has its own officially listed gambling websites.

What Readers Should See on Every Article

At publication, each substantial guide should show a byline linked to a contributor profile, an accurate verification date, the market and product being covered, and source links for regulatory statements. Where first-hand testing is discussed, the article should identify the test scope and limitations. Substantive changes should leave a visible correction or update record where appropriate.

A public contact method for factual corrections should also be supplied once the publisher confirms its support address or form. Readers should not have to guess whether a correction request reaches an editor or a commercial partnership manager.

Questions About Our Contributors

Are the people on this page qualified gambling regulators?

No such claim is made. A reviewer is not a regulator; official authorisation comes from the appropriate public authority. Any genuine professional qualification or appointment must be individually documented before it appears in a profile.

Does a casino review require an actual-money test?

Only assertions about first-hand payment results require genuine transaction evidence. Many licence, terms and safety checks can be carried out through public sources. The review methodology explains the distinction.

Can a paid partnership influence a byline or rating?

Commercial connections must be disclosed, and advertising must not be presented as independent testing. The editorial and partnership policies require publisher approval before becoming statements of actual practice. See our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure.

Where can I report an error?

Use the verified editorial contact channel shown on the published site. Until that channel is configured, this draft should not claim a response guarantee or list an invented email address.
